There are a very few occasions it’s acceptable to mention Christmas in September but sorting the festive party is one of them. Vivid at Manchester Central is conveniently located in the heart of the city and the organiser’s have built up a strong reputation for party experiences over the last few years. The theme this year is ‘New York Nights’ and promises to bring the energy of the big apple to Manchester. Across town at Event City is another exciting shared party option, the theme is ‘Midnight at Monte Carlo’. Buzzing bars
Manchester has more than it’s fair share of incredible cocktail bars and many of these make great Christmas party venues!
If you’re hunting for a party vibe then the buzzing bars of Peter Street are a great option. Magical cocktail wonders await at Impossible with shared parties available in the unique space of the Impossible Theatre and private hire in the Photo-booth. At Dirty Martini on the corner of Deansgate enjoy Christmas cocktail making or hire the VIP area. This intimate space has a capacity of 120 guests and a large beautiful seated booth area and snugs.
Want something more intimate? How about sipping sophisticated cocktails in a glamorous speakeasy? In the Spinningfields business district you can overlook the banks of the river Irwell at Menagerie in private booths, with competitively priced drinks or meal package for parties over seven. Or you can enjoy the privacy of The Refinery, a chic sanctuary in the city that offers crafty cocktails, fine wines and seasonal menus. Whether it’s a mixology masterclasses, champagne breakfast or four course menu they can make sure that your Christmas is merry.

Of course, there are also plenty of Manchester Christmas party venues that are just that bit out of the ordinary.
For something truly memorable the views from Cloud 23 take some beating, the Iris Lounge can seat private parties from 60 to 100 and boasts stunning city vistas and high-end hospitality. You can book yourself a first-class trip to The Lowry whose festive party nights offer five-star shared party packages with the food, service and atmosphere to match. For a unique venue how about hiring the stunning Manchester Art Gallery and walking the beautiful Pre Raphaelite galleries for reception drinks? The glass Atrium can seat up to 120 people or the galleries can hold up to 300 reception-style with dancing until the early hours in the stylish Gallery Café.
